It has been two years since my three sons moved from a prestigious local school to be part of the Beacon Hill School family. 🖊: Staff at BHS gathered for an inspiring CPD session on Restorative Practice in schools and classrooms, and we were thrilled to be joined by colleagues from across ESF.

Guided by the impactful research and frameworks of Kristy Elliott, we took a deep dive into self-regulation, co-regulation, and actionable strategies for supporting our students. Beyond just resolving conflict, we explored how to actively teach young learners how to repair relationships, navigate friendship hurdles, and solve problems constructively.

Building a compassionate, empathetic school community starts with empowering our students with the skills to reconnect and thrive.

Well done to Enoch for being awarded the Absolute Winner of the 10th edition of the
“Città di Minerbio” International Piano Competition 2026 in Italy! Enoch took First Prize in Category I| (up to 23 years of age) and earned the prestigious EMCY Prize.

🖊: Jacob recently completed an aviation training course at Dhurakij Pundit University. During the course, he studied basic aviation theory, including aircraft components and how airplanes work, before practicing in a Cessna 172-G1000 flight simulator alongside a professional pilot.

His instructor commended him for maintaining excellent focus throughout the entire simulator session. Jacob was able to maneuver the aircraft in various directions, navigate to the destination set by his instructor, and successfully complete a take-off, landing, and parking.

She attended extra training hours for two months beforehand and, despite the demanding schedule, embraced the challenge with a positive attitude. The performance was a resounding success.

In addition , Angie has also passed her Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) assessment earlier this year.

Her biggest milestone was successfully managing both events back-to-back in a single day. It turned out to be a fantastic experience and a great learning opportunity for her.

🖊: Angie recently performed in her ballet school's annual performance over two consecutive days, taking on the role of a dressmaker. She attended extra training hours for two months beforehand and, despite the demanding schedule, embraced the challenge with a positive attitude. The performance was a resounding success.

In addition , Angie has also passed her Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) assessment earlier this year.

🖊: Upon Ms. Bratsanos’s recommendation, Abby participated in She Races 2026 and completed her 4k trail run in 35 minutes. Right after the run, she went straight to the Central and Western District table tennis competition, where she played through four matches and earned 2nd runner-up!

Her biggest milestone was successfully managing both events back-to-back in a single day. It turned out to be a fantastic experience and a great learning opportunity for her.

🖊: Staff at BHS gathered for an inspiring CPD session on Restorative Practice in schools and classrooms, and we were thrilled to be joined by colleagues from across ESF.

Guided by the impactful research and frameworks of Kristy Elliott, we took a deep dive into self-regulation, co-regulation, and actionable strategies for supporting our students. Beyond just resolving conflict, we explored how to actively teach young learners how to repair relationships, navigate friendship hurdles, and solve problems constructively.

Building a compassionate, empathetic school community starts with empowering our students with the skills to reconnect and thrive.

🖊: Jacob recently completed an aviation training course at Dhurakij Pundit University. During the course, he studied basic aviation theory, including aircraft components and how airplanes work, before practicing in a Cessna 172-G1000 flight simulator alongside a professional pilot.

His instructor commended him for maintaining excellent focus throughout the entire simulator session. Jacob was able to maneuver the aircraft in various directions, navigate to the destination set by his instructor, and successfully complete a take-off, landing, and parking.

Keep it up, Jacob!
