It has been two years since my three sons moved from a prestigious local school to be part of the Beacon Hill School family. 🖊: Mikayla competed in her very first 30m compound bow archery tournament (CUHK Archery Open 2026) — she was the youngest competitor ever to complete the event, leaving behind a trail of inspiration and hope with every arrow.

For most kids her age, 30 meters is a daunting distance—not just physically, but mentally as well. Yet there she was, small in stature but immense in spirit, standing tall against the distant target. With quiet focus, Mikayla raised her bow, took aim, and released each arrow with a calmness well beyond her years. Surrounded by competitors much older, she never wavered, shooting every single arrow with heart and determination.

For Mikayla, the scoreboard told only a small part of the story. Through her courage and pure love for the sport, she reminded everyone that age has nothing to do with what you can achieve when you’re driven by a dream.

Keep it up, Mikayla!

We were treated to an incredible display of talent and energy at our Spring Concert, featuring performances from the Year 1 Choir, Junior Choir, Strings Ensemble, Dance Club, and Senior Choir. Both our younger and older students sang beautifully, filling the hall with joy and enthusiasm.

The variety of songs and the uplifting energy from all the performers were truly inspiring. 🖊: Mikayla competed in her very first 30m compound bow archery tournament (CUHK Archery Open 2026) — she was the youngest competitor ever to complete the event, leaving behind a trail of inspiration and hope with every arrow.

For most kids her age, 30 meters is a daunting distance—not just physically, but mentally as well. Yet there she was, small in stature but immense in spirit, standing tall against the distant target. With quiet focus, Mikayla raised her bow, took aim, and released each arrow with a calmness well beyond her years. Surrounded by competitors much older, she never wavered, shooting every single arrow with heart and determination.

For Mikayla, the scoreboard told only a small part of the story. Through her courage and pure love for the sport, she reminded everyone that age has nothing to do with what you can achieve when you’re driven by a dream.

Keep it up, Mikayla!
