It has been two years since my three sons moved from a prestigious local school to be part of the Beacon Hill School family. I like what I have seen but I will stop short of saying it is the best decision; I would rather say this is a great educational program and an amazing environment to foster a positive learning attitude that would be helpful for their long-term development in this ever-changing world. It was interesting to see learn about their beliefs in the afterlife and how important their burial customs were to help someone on their journey. I read about the careful mummification process: removing certain organs, washing the body, wrapping it many times, and placing it in a coffin with protective coverings. All ESF schools and community with join the effort, and we will do our best to raise as much money as possible.
All funds collected will go towards the Hong Kong Government Support Fund for Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po. The fund will be used to assist residents in rebuilding their homes and proving long-term, ongoing support.
