It has been two years since my three sons moved from a prestigious local school to be part of the Beacon Hill School family. Gathered at Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground, the kids stood out from the crowd in their vibrant uniforms, showing school spirit and what teamwork and perseverance look like outside the classroom.

The energy was electric - smiles, cheers, and pure determination filled the air. A huge shout-out to all our finishers!

🖊: Our Year 1 students swapped their indoor classroom for the great outdoors on a wonderful trip to Clearwater Bay Country Park! Surrounded by nature, the children became enthusiastic nature explorers, showing curiosity, confidence, and a fantastic willingness to try new things.
The teachers were so impressed by their adventurous spirit as they enjoyed hiking through the park, walking barefoot in the grass, painting in the fresh air, and flying kites.

🖊: A Sneak Peek into Year 7 Life at KGV! Excitement was in the air this week as some of our Year 6 students headed to KGV School for their transition morning. It was a morning filled with firsts:
Making Connections: Meeting current students and making friends with Year 6s from other schools.
Exploring: Getting familiar with the new, bigger campus environment.
Getting Inspired: Watching fantastic live performances by current KGV students.
Levelling Up: Experiencing the "Secondary School Lunch" - choosing and buying their own food at the canteen (a definite favourite!).
Transitions are all about comfort and confidence. It was great to see our students already looking so at home.

We had record numbers of runners, and everyone who ran showed determination and perseverance on the challenging course. Each participant should be very proud of their effort. From the front of the pack to the final finishers, students dug deep, pushed through tiredness, and refused to give up. The top six in each race will participate in the HKPSSA Kowloon Cross-Country Championships. Good luck to the runners.

🖊: A Sneak Peek into Year 7 Life at KGV! Excitement was in the air this week as some of our Year 6 students headed to KGV School for their transition morning. It was a morning filled with firsts:
Making Connections: Meeting current students and making friends with Year 6s from other schools.
Exploring: Getting familiar with the new, bigger campus environment.
Getting Inspired: Watching fantastic live performances by current KGV students.
Levelling Up: Experiencing the "Secondary School Lunch" - choosing and buying their own food at the canteen (a definite favourite!).
Transitions are all about comfort and confidence. It was great to see our students already looking so at home.

🖊: Carina took part in HK Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker, which was staged in December 2025. After successfully auditioning for the role, she spent a few months rehearsing with her fellow cast members as part of the Mice ensemble, focusing on stage movement and positioning in preparation for their live performance.

🖊: Well done to the 221 runners who participated in the annual Beacon Hill School road race trial. We had record numbers of runners, and everyone who ran showed determination and perseverance on the challenging course. Each participant should be very proud of their effort. From the front of the pack to the final finishers, students dug deep, pushed through tiredness, and refused to give up. The top six in each race will participate in the HKPSSA Kowloon Cross-Country Championships. Good luck to the runners.

🖊: More than 25 of our Year 5 & Year 6 students laced up their sneakers, put on our signature purple BHS PE shirt, and hit the track for the Standard Chartered Marathon Youth Run (2 km)!

Gathered at Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground, the kids stood out from the crowd in their vibrant uniforms, showing school spirit and what teamwork and perseverance look like outside the classroom.

The energy was electric - smiles, cheers, and pure determination filled the air. A huge shout-out to all our finishers!

🖊: Our Year 1 students swapped their indoor classroom for the great outdoors on a wonderful trip to Clearwater Bay Country Park! Surrounded by nature, the children became enthusiastic nature explorers, showing curiosity, confidence, and a fantastic willingness to try new things.
The teachers were so impressed by their adventurous spirit as they enjoyed hiking through the park, walking barefoot in the grass, painting in the fresh air, and flying kites.
