The Beacon Hill School Parents-Teacher Association (PTA) aims to unite parents, teachers, and the school community to foster a collaborative atmosphere that supports learning. By organising events, providing resources, and facilitating communication, the PTA strengthens the connection between families and the school, enriching the educational experience and creating a welcoming environment for all students.
In accordance with the ESF Ordinance, all parents are required to be members of the PTA at their child’s school. Membership fees of $200 are due at the beginning of the academic year. We encourage all parents to join us in supporting the school for the benefit of every student.
The School Council serves as the governing body of the school and consists of two parent representatives: one nominated by the PTA and the other elected by the community.

PTA's Roles and Missions
The primary mission of the PTA is to promote cooperation and strong community engagement among the school, parents, and students. The PTA oversees school lunches and collaborates with class representatives, who act as a communication bridge between the school and parents. Each year, the PTA organises various events to bring the community together, many of which are fundraising activities that help provide learning materials and enhance the educational experience. Examples of PTA-sponsored initiatives include the annual Lunar New Year Lion Dance, students’ digital learning applications, the school’s sustainable recycling system, outdoor playground equipment, classroom board games for social skills enhancement, and souvenirs for Year 6 graduates.
The PTA actively encourages parent involvement in school activities. Parents can contribute by assisting with event planning, making donations, or volunteering during activities. We greatly appreciate all forms of support, as they are vital to the school’s success.
When parent volunteers are needed for specific events, the PTA will communicate this through the weekly newsletter. Interested parents who wish to help organise fundraising events are encouraged to reach out via email.
